I’ve known Mekah for years before finally booking an appointment. I always assumed waxing was just for women and, honestly, the idea of sitting in a waiting room with a bunch of women giving me side-eye kept me from even considering it.

Mekah reassured me that wouldn’t be the case at MBS—and she was right. She could tell I was nervous, so she handed me a shot of bourbon to take the edge off. We started talking about the Dodgers, and before I knew it, I was done. Now, I come back about every 4 weeks, especially in the summer. It gets easier every time. 10/10, highly recommend!
